As one of the formulators at SESHA Skin Therapy, I’ve always been drawn to the challenge of finding ingredients that truly make a difference — not just trends, but innovations backed by real science. About two years ago, I came across PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide), a fascinating compound derived from salmon DNA and known for its extraordinary regenerative power. After months of formulation and testing, our team finally perfected what would become the SESHA PDRN Regenerate Serum. I was proud — but I had no idea that I was about to experience its power in such a personal way.
Around that same time, I developed a severe poison ivy infection on my forearm. Painful blisters covered my skin. The itching was unbearable — no matter what prescription cream I used, it only grew worse. At one point, I was so desperate I felt like I wanted to scratch my skin with a knife. I suspected I was even allergic to the medication, and it felt hopeless waiting for my body to heal on its own.
Then, by chance, one of our freshly made Regenerate Serums was given to me, and I took it home. I decided to try it — not as a formulator this time, but as a patient in need of relief. I applied it generously over the blisters, twice a day or whenever I felt itching, hoping for comfort (starting on June 7, 2025, at 7:20 am).
What happened next astonished me. Within just two hours (6/7 at 9:30 am), the redness and irritation began to calm (I captured photos because I could hardly believe it). By the third day (6/12/25), the blisters had dried and turned to scabs (if not caught by a dated picture, I would not believe my own eyes). Within a month, my skin had smoothed over completely — no scars, no dryness. It’s been a while since I remember any more. Now (10/29/25), it’s been over four months since I started writing here, and only a faint patch of discoloration remains, barely visible under a short sleeve.
Without living through this myself, I would not have believed it so strongly. This was more than proof — it was personal. It confirmed that what we created wasn’t just another serum. PDRN truly accelerates the skin’s natural ability to repair and regenerate.
