A PERSONAL JOURNEY: MY RECOVERY AND DISCOVERY WITH PDRN

A PERSONAL JOURNEY: MY RECOVERY AND DISCOVERY WITH PDRN

As a marketing professional and business owner, I spend much of my life in front of a camera — recording online courses, client sessions, and social media content. My confidence and my face are both vital parts of my work.

So when I was diagnosed in May 2025 with Basal Cell Carcinoma on the side of my nose, I knew surgery was necessary — but I didn’t realize how emotional the recovery would be.

In early June, I underwent a Mohs procedure, a precise skin cancer surgery where thin layers of skin are removed and examined under a microscope until no cancer cells remain. I expected a small incision like my biopsy — but instead, I woke up with stitches running from the bridge to the tip of my nose, two black eyes, and daily headaches from swelling and nerve irritation.

Yes, I was grateful they got it all, but I was also heartbroken. I couldn’t recognize myself in the mirror. I had to keep showing up on Zoom and social media, pretending everything was fine when, inside, I felt anything but.

For two weeks, I kept the bandages on. When they finally came off, I cried. The wound looked angry and inflamed. I didn’t want to leave the house, let alone get in front of a camera.

Then, I shared my experience privately with Phyllis Hsieh, who told me about her own healing story — and suggested I try the PDRN Regenerative Booster she had helped formulate. She explained that PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) supports cellular regeneration and helps repair skin at a DNA level.

At that point, I had nothing to lose — so I began applying PDRN to my nose each night before bed, focusing on the surgical site and the red, inflamed area around it.
What happened next still amazes me.

Within just a few days, the swelling subsided and the constant headaches eased. After two weeks, the redness had faded to light pink, and by the two-month mark, the difference was astonishing — my skin tone was nearly even, the texture smooth, and the scar barely
visible.

The best part? Once the inflammation went down, I could confidently use light filters for video calls again — and no one could tell anything had happened.

This experience changed how I see skin healing — and skincare science. It’s one thing to believe in innovation, but it’s another to feel it working firsthand. The PDRN Regenerative Booster became more than a product to me — it was a turning point in my recovery, both
physically and emotionally.

For anyone going through a skin procedure or healing journey, know this: true repair starts from within — at the cellular level. And sometimes, the right formula can do more than restore your skin — it can help you regain your confidence.
